Association of Polish Art Photographers
It is an elite organization bringing together artists expressing themselves in the broadly understood medium of photography. It was established after World War II in 1947 as a continuation of the pre-war Polish Photo Club. He took over its traditions and values, and the founders were outstanding photographers with Jan Bułhak at the forefront. The structure of the Association includes 13 districts and the Main Board is located at Plac Zamkowy in Warsaw. It is worth mentioning here that you cannot "SUBSCRIBE" to ZPAF, but you have to "GET IN" after verification by the Artistic Council of ZG ZPAF. In the Łódź District, we have over 30 members with rich artistic achievements, mostly graduates of Art Schools and the Łódź Film School, which does not exclude a wide range of other previously acquired professions. On behalf of the Association, we organize individual exhibitions of our members as well as numerous collective exhibitions. One of the collective exhibitions is the exhibition at the EXPO Hall in Łódź during the FILM VIDEO FOTO 2023 Fair (April 20-22).
It is worth adding here that the Łódź District of the Association of Polish Art Photographers is one of the honorary patrons of the Fair and the year 2023 is the year of the 600th anniversary of Łódź. The motto that binds the selection of our works at this exhibition is PUNCTUM, the concept of a very important element determining the communicative value of each consciously constructed frame. We present 20 works that reflect the individual creative needs of each of the authors, without imposing a theme or technique. They are organized from the formal side only by the common dimension of 100 x 70 cm. We invite visitors to come into close contact with our works, it is worth noting how wide and individual the range of photographic message can be.

There will also be brands of leading manufacturers and distributors of equipment from companies such as: Eizo, Epson, BEiKS, Fdirect, Zeever, Noritsu, Ilford, Patona, Next 77, Fotoforma, Bemix Media, Digitalalbum.pl, Ziba Fototechnika, Altra, Fotopak. This is just a small part of what the participants of the event will be able to see and test live!
The rich exhibition part will be complemented by a carefully selected program of workshops, presentations and meetings with industry experts! A total of over 100 hours of exchange of thoughts and experiences! All addressed to photography and film professionals, as well as amateurs of these arts. Also this year, there will be no shortage of respected names of photographers and photo exhibitions presenting various faces of photography.
